1 John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us!"

Lillian Kelly

Well I haven't been here in a while and I have been kinda dreading this blog for some time now. I praise the Lord that my Gram was a saved woman which makes her passing bearable. I know that she is in a better place praising her Savior and her Lord.

I had the opportunity and priviledge to conduct the funeral, which is one of the hardest things I have ever done. At first when my mother asked me if I could do it, I immediately said no way. But after some coaching from some officer friends of mine, I decided to do it. What an awesome priviledge that I will never soon forget.

Lillian Kelly was an awesome lady that called Jesus her personal Savior. She was a woman in which all of us should try to live up to. She was a woman who was married to a wonderful man named Walter. She was a woman who raised five wonderful children whom she loved and cared for. She was a woman who single-handedly held together the Kelly clan. She was a woman who had 19 grandchildren and 9 great-children who are her pride and joy. She was a woman who worked her entire life in service to others. Lillian, Lil, Mrs. Kelly, Mom, Gram, whatever we called her, we respected her for who she was and how she lived her life.

I thank God for the awesome lady that He placed in my path as my Grandmother.
