Salvation

We believe in salvation
This is our declaration
Christ for the world wide
Only in Him will we bide

We believe in salvation
Even for men with no direction
Christ will be their guide
And we the saved at their side

We believe in salvation
This is our only ambition
Christ in whom they confide
Unsaved men to decide

We have Salvation
Lost souls we envision
Christ, in which God provide
To save the world wide

Thanks for this post Bill. I believe salvation and the kingdom coming is about not only the Salvation of the world (people)but the salvation of creation (earth and all its creation).

Salvation is not only about being safe from hell. That is not a completely biblical view in my opinion. Salvation is about saving the earth as well. Some of the worst stewards of the earth are Christians. We waste food in youth group competition, we drive gas-guzzling cars and in general, are really poor stewards.

If we believe in saving people we must save the environment as well. Otherwise, where will people live out Kingdom values?

No, I totally understand where you are coming from. I am that way towards resources in general. I hate the fact that lights get left on, or the fact of driving from one place to another when you can see your destination.
I can never understand the point of wasting resources in which God has given us.
