1 John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us!"

Blessings

Over the past week I have come to a realization. There are more important things in life than the little things that we worry ourselves about. We as humans tend to look at things in increments, we look at life as it happens. I just wonder if this is the proper way to look at life.

We know that God looks at our lives at the whole spectrum. Granted God does know what is going to happen and we don't, but we can look at our lives in the same manner. God has our best interests at mind, he wants the best for us. Lately I have been wondering why we worry about the little things. Why do we worry about the things that are the non-essentials of life?

Why do I bring this point up now? Well I think that we get caught up in oursleves. We get tied in the things that we can do rather than the awesome things that God can accomplish through us. We tend to get tied up in the things that we have, rather than fact of how we are blessed by God.

Last night I had the opportunity to hear Pastor Jim Cymbala from the Brooklyn Tabernacle speak last night. He said something that struck me and picked at my heart. He said, "Why are we jealous about the fact that God choose to bless someone else?" It's true no matter we choose to think about it. We always worry about what someone else can do and what they have done. I mean seriously God has bless them whether it be what they accomplish or the gifts that God gives to them.

God blesses us in tremendous way in which we never realize. Take time this week to realize the blessings of God. Don't worry about what others can do and realize the fact that God has blessed you. We are a community of believers, how can we use the gifts that God has given to each one of us to benefit the community in which we live. Think about it.

(Really just something for me to think about, but feel free)

I love Jim Cymbala! His books and sermons are incredible. What a passion for God! I visited Brooklyn Tabernacle and was blown away by his humility and down-to-earthness.
I also love Keith Greens's music, I am a huge fan. Are you familiar with him?

I am a musician and I would be honored if you would check out my music. All music on my site is free for downlad. Anyway, just thought that I'd share.

Thanks,
-Sean
