Rise Up
I wake to a day of
hopelessness and pain.
I look to the end before the
day even starts.
No matter what this day
holds, I will
I will rise up to the glory,
I will rise up to the honor,
I will rise up to the hope,
of Jesus.
I walk through my life
living with shame and guilt.
Each moment held together
by careful thought.
With all of this
I lay my head down hoping
for a better day tomorrow.
Thoughts run through me
in ways no one can explain.
As my eyes drift and droop
I will

There are better days ahead
Because of you, because of
you, I will rise up
(I have been going through an interesting part of my life right now. But above all things, there is Jesus Christ. My Savior and My Lord. There are better days ahead. Please tell me what you think, any comments are welcome)

I found your blog a few weeks ago, and I have been drawn back to it.
for some reason, the words of "Above all" by Paul Baloche & Larry Le Blanc, have come to my mind.
Crucified,laid behind the stone,
